Spy on ants!
Ever wondered what are ants doing all day, working so hard, building up their “homes”, going to “work” and all of those tales you were told when you were a child? How much is true and how much is fiction? Now you can watch ants up close when they dig tunnels and caves in a transparent gel.
Developed for NASA, to test animal reactions in weightless condition, this gel is now available for you to make you own tests at home. Well… they will not be in weightless conditions but it still works down here on earth. All you have to do is to go and find some ants, “invite” them into their new blue home, and press a few holes in the surface of the gel. The ants will do the rest of the work.
You don’t have to feed the ants because the gel itself is nutritious. The ants simply feed out of the gel.The container is sealed tight but has two small air vents in the lid. It is a good idea though to open the lid once in a while to let in some fresh air.
Please do not use this with other animals then ants!
