If you
are a heavy-sleeper, mostly at morning times when you have to get very early at the office, this shall be the best gift for you: a clock that sounds very loud at the set time, and, most important: it starts flying into the room making a mosquito sound and it does not stop until you wake up and turn it off- now that’s an exciting way to wake up each morning, isn’t it?
If, by mistake, you leave or window open, it could even fly out of your house, go into the neighboor’s yard and scaring the poor dog off! Or, following another plot, if you really do not hear it and it goes out of battery, it can easily land on you (maybe even on your head!), harming you or leaving you unconscious! However, this would be the worst scenary out there- the device is actually very funny and it even won a technology design award for its innovation and flair.

Got tired of your old clock and want something that embodies the features of a normal timepiece with the ones of a very impressing decor piece? I know we have presented you all kind of
clocks from the binary system ones to the “Whatever” clock version, but today we put the cherry on the top of the cake: ladies and gentlemen, introducing to you the Time Cube Clock which as a first sight it just might get confused with a time machine or a sketch from Leonardo Da Vinci. However, it is something far more simple than that: a clock which works like this: the largest triangle shows the hours, the medium one shows minutes, and a quick-moving small triangle for the second hand. There is no summary introduction to the way you have to set it- if this includes moving the traingles and which one out of the three or maybe there is just another mechanism.
However, I am sure the clock comes with an instructions manual and after you get used to it, there is not such a big deal on the way it works. This might be just the perfect gift your desk room needs.

This alarm clock is truly amazing! Enough with the boring, common alarm clocks that make you wanna throw them on the window each morning they make that annoying sound with their sharp, white faces- not anymore! Now you can actually have fun while you watch the time passing on this innovative clock. On each hour the so-called Aurora Rocket will switch to a new colour, giving you a gentle, amusing indication that time is moving along even if you chose to point the bright red clock digits.
It has a retro kind of look, so for sure this piece will not get unobserved on your desk. If you want to use it as a bed alarm clock, then you have the option to chose a slowly morphing colour light effect that can follow you even if the lights are turned off, for several minutes in the dark. So if you decide to buy this wonderul clock as a gift, think again- you might just want to keep t for yourself once you saw how it functions and glows while minutes pass by.

Firs
t of all, I must inform you that this clock is not a normal one that shows the time by its two arrows for hour and minutes- this binary clock actually tells you the time in a binary code, purely arithmetic and if you have no idea what binary code is, you need to practice a little bit before you can figure out how to read the time information. Do not be scared, reading a binary code is no
t that difficult, but you need a bit of ambition and practice to figure it out.
However, the clock can be a perfect gift for somebody that likes the challenges, as it definitely puts your brain at work. For more information on how to understand a binary code is available here: http://www.anelace.com/XLDSet_up.html

Various models of robots were presented at the CES 2008, and a lot of them are really amazing. However, I picked up for you two robots which I found to be very funny and charming in the same time.
First of all, he
re is Mr. Clock- if you are sick and tired of the classical way of waking up and the clock in your possession is quite old-fashioned,we present you the perfect alternative. It can reach your ears in 30 different tone rings, 300 wake up messages and there are many other extra features that make it unique- it can play music via AM, FM or iPod/MP3, tell fortune, blink, tell the time out loud and even wink. However, before going out in the morning and kick it in the face, remember it costs around 80$ a piece.

Our second option is the robotic pet- meet Wrex the Dawg by WowWee,which can be changed to any mood you would like from the three options it has- happy, sad and angry and it features 14 motors for movement and a remote control for general locomotion. It can be really funny and can cheer you up in some many ways (imagine that it has an option when the dog starts suddenly acting like a cat, it can roam on his own, you have to take it out and feed it!). The price for this piece of a kind is around 150$.

Sometimes, people can get really obsessive with “what time is it?” and their repeated question can get, at times, more than annoying. So, if you want to surprise them with an original version of a wall clock- here you have it-
the Whatever wall clock.
Even though the digits are put all together randomly it is easy to figure out what time it is and its message is really interesting: “what time is it?”…and the answer “whatever”- after all, time was invented by us, the human beings, and today more than ever, it has a relative meaning.

Bob Mirrored Wall Clock is modern and fun and a nice adaptation of the traditional design. The clock completely rearranging numbers in a way that the numbers are either cutaout or centered in cutaout circles and allows the color of the wall to show through, contrasting with the highly polished stainless stell of the clock face. If you place the clock in a room with brightly colored walls or in an untraditional office where the decor is not all serious it will look beautiful. The price of the Bop Mirrored Wall Clock is $218.
