Zero-gravity massage chair

It seems that the first zero-gravity massage chair has just been brought on the market- and this also seZero-gravity massage chairems not to be a joke as we all thought when reading the news for the first time! It actually has a lot of interesting features such as Human Touch robotic massage mechanism that feels like real hands-it emulates the techniques used by physical therapists and chiropractic professionals — rolling, kneading, percussion and therapeutic compression; the wired controller puts all therapies at your fingertips (including eight automatic programmed massage sessions); foot and calf massager in the footrest uses a patented technology that works your lower extremities an upward, wavelike fashion (therapeutically moving blood away from the feet and toward your body’s core).

Furthermore, as you  rotate into the zero-gravity position, the pivoting “Z” shape cradles your spine in a stress-free position; elevates your legs above your heart for improved circulation; eases tense muscles; and increases oxygen intake by expanding lung capacity. Two lumbar heat modules warm the lower back muscles, gradually reducing tightness and preparing them for a more restorative message and faster healing- in short words, the chair seems  to combines incredibly realistic and therapeutic Human Touch massage with zero-gravity ergonomics. Nokia Eco Senzor Concept

As being “eco-friendly” and “green” turns out to be this year’s trend, Nokia has come with a brilliaNokia Eco Senzor Conceptnt concept that is so much awaited to hit the market. Here are the features of the gadget, taken from the official Nokia site: the concept consists of two parts – a wearable sensor unit which can sense and analyze your environment, health, and local weather conditions, and a dedicated mobile phone. The sensor unit will be worn on a wrist or neck strap made from solar cells that provide power to the sensors. NFC (near field communication) technology will relay information by touch from the sensors to the phone or to or to other devices that support NFC technology. Both the phone and the sensor unit will be as compact as possible to minimize material use, and those materials used in the design will be renewable and/or reclaimed. Technologies used inside the phone and sensor unit will also help save energy.

Another very interesting feature is that you will be able to choose which sensors you would like to have inside the sensing device, thereby customizing the device to your needs and desires (you can use a heart-rate monitor or  the  motion detector to measure your walking pace). To complete the Nokia Eco Sensor Concept, the phone and detector units will be optimized for lower energy consumption in both the manufacturing process and the it is build under the  three principles of waste reduction: reduce, reuse and recycle.

Mobilephone to work as a mouse?

Yes, it is posible- fMobilephone to work as an mouse?or the moment this is just a concept, but for sure in the near future we will see it available on the market. Researchers have compe up with an idea to make your mobilephone function as a mouse whenever you do not make or receive a call, naturally. This software relies on Bluetooth technology to keep it going, and enables the cell phone to interact with public displays. For example, users can obtain product information or purchase tickets simply by using the camera. Unfortunately, this idea still requires a great deal of work before it is ready for a commercial release since the image capture and image processing rate on the cell phone is rather slow, and you have to deal the with the lag.

So, in short time we shall have the option to buy a cellphone with so many features: making calls, taking pictures, filming, bluetooth and now even function as a mouse! Where will technology lead us in 10 years from now?…
