The Lulu’s Hideaway is an unsually shaped pet bed made from a truncated cube (it was a mathematician’s dream).The cube had the corners snipped off in order to create triangular surfaces. Because it’s an unusual polyhedron makes it fare more visually interesting than the vast majority of pet beds. The bed is made of acrylic with a white exterior, purple interior and octagonal entry. The new Hauzen Washing Machine from Samsung was created by Andre Kim a Korean designer. The appliance was done in crimson and gold and stainless steel door/window ring. Also the machine has gilded floral pattern and golden crest on the front. Yet there are not details concerning the price but could be possible that this machine do not be available for the Korean market.

The Davidoff Diademas came on the market with one of the most “perfecto” cigars. The Diademas Finas has a ring gauge of 50 and a length of 6 3/4″ and is meant to resemble Zino Davidoff’s Diademas creation from 1948. The cigars come in a box of 10 which is wrapped in a special paper depicting Zino Davidoff in a photograph in front of his Geneva shop around 1940. The filler from the cigar is Dominican and comprises five different tobaccos. A box of ten cigars sells for $220.

From a collaboration between Old World technique and New World grapes result a very good wine. The Eroica Riesling from Chateau Ste. Michelle is a good exemple because the wine is a collaboration between Washington’s Chateau Ste. Michelle winery and Germany’s Dr. Ernst Loosen. The wine have got the name after a Beethoven symphony. The 2005 includes grapes from the Columbia Valley area of Washington.The resulting wine has a great mix of pear and mineral flavors and a lipsmacking finish. It’s drier than some Rieslings but has just a smidge of honeyed sweetness that makes Riesling so appealing. The price for the Eroica Riesling wine is $20.

For those who have paper everywhere on the desk Modernlink found a solution: the James desk. The new desk has slots for vertical files built into the top and a large (24 x 36) drawer in the center. The desk is made of bamboo and it’s available in either a “Baked” or “Raw” finish. Raw is the color of naked bamboo while the Baked version a toasty color created by subjecting the raw bamboo to high temperatures. The James desk it seels for $5,600 but there is a smaller version, the Jimmy for $4,800.
